Who Are We?

Hacking Spatial Computing is a pioneering 4-day event that invites students to explore the frontiers of spatial computing.

Hosted by the Smart Systems Institute at the National University of Singapore, this hackathon welcomes designers and developers alike to create impactful spatial applications that transforms how we interact with media, environments, and each other.

Regardless of your background, this is your opportunity to engage with real-world challenges. Teams will showcase their prototypes in the grand finale at the Apple Developer Center in Singapore.

What's the Plan?

Day 1

Pre-Hackathon Workshop

Begin your journey with an Apple Vision Pro workshop taught by a certified Swift mentor.

Day 2

Engage

The hackathon kicks off with teams brainstorming, and prototyping their apps.

Day 3

Develop & Refine

Teams refine and develop their applications for the final showcase.

Day 4

Demo Showcase

Teams showcase their prototypes in the grand finale at the Apple Developer Center.

Requirements

Teams of four will have the opportunity to work on an Apple Vision Pro. Prior experience in Swift is desirable but not necessary.

Development for visionOS requires a Mac running the latest version of Xcode (16.4). While there will be a limited number of Macs available for loan, please indicate in the application form if you have a Mac of your own. Please contact us if you have any questions
